Introducing our German office
Our new office in Berlin, hiring plans, and what we see in Europe for ambitious, mission-driven startups

Dei Vilkinsons
CEO & Founder
Hallo, Berlin!
We've established a new entity in Germany, HASH GmbH, and acquired office space in the heart of Berlin-Mitte. This office will be home to our new AI Research lab, and is located just across the road from fellow AI firm Perplexity, at Atrium Tower (Eichhornstraße 3), an extraordinary Renzo Piano-designed building just by the city's central Potsdamer Platz hub.
Now hiring
We're currently hiring for a number of key roles across the lab, including research engineers, design engineers, and operations, to work in-person from our new Berlin office, which will be led by HASH founder Dei Vilkinsons.
We've always admitted to being "unapologetically intense" about our work and mission, which has at times drawn raised eyebrows from Silicon Valley VCs amused that we would therefore choose to set up in Europe. However, we don't see this as a contradiction, and have never had a hard-time finding ridiculously ambitious, hard-working, intelligent and creative colleagues at the top of their game. Working on hard problems attracts such people, and concentrations of talent beget more of the same. We fervently believe that for truly mission-driven firms, whose values align with those of Europe, there is no better place from which to work. It does mean we're sometimes the odd ones out — viewed with skepticism in the states, and at the office a lot later than our peers — but it's working, and we're proud to be here.
Get in touch
Whether you're a potential new hire, business partner, or user of HASH, if you're based in the city we'd love to meet. We'll also be heading to Munich and Stuttgart in the coming weeks, so wherever you are in Germany, please feel free to get in touch.
