Leah Pickering

Prior to HASH, Leah gained over a decade of experience in global operations, supply chain process improvement, and strategic programme management within the Pharmaceutical industry. At AstraZeneca, both during and after the COVID pandemic, she led regional distribution teams across multiple complex markets including the UK, Russia, and the Nordics, ensuring that critical medicines reached patients on time and in full, including design and management of AstraZeneca's EU & UK vaccine distribution efforts. More recently as Global Planning Process Lead, Leah ran a network of global supply chain professionals to optimize efficiency and drive improvement in the new product introduction (NPI) and switch planning processes.

Leah holds a Master’s degree in Supply Chain & Logistics Management from the University of Warwick and a First-Class Honours BSc in Applied Psychology from Cardiff University, and actively volunteers with the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) Europe.
